NEW PROJECT

One of my passions has always been the public health side of medicine. I am very passionate about Women's health and the empowering of women through education. When I say this, I don't just mean their scholastic education, but women being educated and knowledgeable about their bodies and the power that they possess over their bodies,the quality of their relationships, their place in society etc. as a result of that knowledge.

I have been thinking of starting a Women's Health Corner where I can post new developments in the issues that women face, discuss certain diseases etc. I also hope to feature the work of some of my girlfriends who are also working on Human Rights and Women's Health Initiatives etc internationally as well as nationally

And now, after all of the votes, encouragement and awesome suggestions for discussion topics, The women's corner has been launched.
