Dr. D is Coming to Town
The proverbial light at the end of tunnel is finally coming into view. My family and I are moving back to Arizona. I will be joining a private practice as an Obstetrician/ Gynecologist, and Randy will be looking into starting a career in the culinary industry. Right now, I am trying to continue to learn as much as I can during this last 6 months of residency training, and study for my board exams. A lot is going on all at once, but I am thankful to God for getting me through this and bringing me to this point. I am also excited to finally be moving back to Arizona. My family is eager to have me back home and I am looking forward to my children being able to grow up with their cousins and get to know the rest of the family.

A lot has happened
I do feel bad that it has been an embarrassingly long time since I have even looked at my blog further more posted on it. Residency, having another baby, dealing with the stresses, demands and challenges of life left no time for much else. I now have a beautiful 4 month old daughter, Makayla Renee Sillik, who is an additional joy in our lives, and I am finishing up residency training (finally), studying for my boards, and working on securing a job in an OB/GYN practice so that my family and I can move back to Arizona. Randy is no longer a database analyst, but is now finishing up with Culinary school, following a calling he has had for pretty much his entire life. I make no promises as to how often I will be posting between now and when I graduate in June, but I don't plan on neglecting it like I have before. It will be nice to read others' blogs again too and see what is going on in the real world again.
